Lindbergh Lane off of Red Hill Road is named for Charles Lindbergh 1902-1974 Born in Detroit Michigan, growing up in Little Falls Minnesota and Washington D.C. American Aviator of Swedish descent the son of a Congressman. He was an Air Mail Pilot who took off from Long Island, New York, flying three thousand miles across the Atlantic landing in Paris France, delivers a letter. Awarkardedly orders a croissant and coffee, black with just a whiff of cinnamon. The French thinks he's mignonne*. He became the twentieth century's earliest celebrities. In 1932 his infant son was kidnapped, leading to a sensational trail and conviction. After the horrible ordeal he and his wife leave America and live in Europe, Hangs out in Germany with a bunch of Nazies and suspects these guys are not what they seem to be, despite there cool uniforms. leaves in 1939 quickly
